Balloon Festival in Baton Rouge 20 years ago

Now, this is a photo of a print I made 20 years ago, so quality is poor.

It is a combination of three shots (three negatives), the one of the balloon and buildings, and one of each firework. I took it from atop a parking garage with no tripod.

The balloon shot was hard to get because of no tripod. The aperture stayed open for at least 5 secs, you can see the movement in the lights.

The two fireworks were shot from the same location about an hour later. The explosions were actually several hundred feet above the festival.

In the lab, I simply shot the buildings and than slowly burnt in the two fireworks onto the same print.

This print was my best shot in class that year
