    I love the optical weirdness when I scroll down the page...looks like a deep basket, maybe to be carried on the back?

    Thanks Everyone. It is actually the inside of an overturned authentic Birchbark canoe used by Native Indians on Lac Temiscamingue.
    Here is one that shows a little more and would have given it away.
