Sunday being the hottest of the year, I decided it would be a good idea to walk up Samis Road with camera gear in tow.

great shots Jas. I love the bench shot - it has a real story to it.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
shot 1 for me too - very pensive and good comp. Love the crossed feet! Might also work very well in BW.
I might try sharpening buildings a tad more to see if that might also work, but I do like it very much as is.

Thanks, Bambi and Marko. Here is a B&W version with the buildings sharpened.

More Downside:
And more upside.
Both this and the previous photos are HDR's processed with Oloneo software.
One more:
That's how the valley rolls. No tricks with the fisheye, here.
Excellent images, all of them. But my fav is the lower part of the bridge .. fantastic.

I agree excellent images. I agree that first one with the bench really tells a story. Looks like a great place to sit and relax and watch the city. Can't choose between the colour and B&W. Like them both.
