I didn't have my tripod with me, so steadied the camera on a stone wall for this 3 shot HDR.

Here's the History...

"Designed for lavish entertaining and displaying an extensive collection of paintings, sculpture and original furnishings, Kedleston is a stunning example of the work of architect Robert Adam. The Curzon family have lived at the Hall since the 12th century and continue to live here. Lord Curzon's Eastern Museum is a treasure trove of fascinating objects acquired on his travels in Asia and while Viceroy of India (1899 to 1905). Used as a key location for The Duchess, the recent Hollywood blockbuster."

well that's fab. the sheep just scream England to me. Well as much as sheep scream anything. the added blacks and desaturation really helps set a tone for the place which I was wondering how the family could still afford to live in, then I read your bit about the movie set. ah ha! I'd love to spend a year or two exploring that little pile.

What a really nice shot. This is my favourite type of HDR, one where you can't quite tell that it is HDR. Well done.

That is remarkable lens flare you have there, is that circle around the sun as shot or did you add it later?

lol... I wondered if anyone would pick up on that... The problem with a lot of these places is they only allow visitors from about 11 in the morning till at night, which is not allways the best time for photography..

As you can see, the sun is faked, and I also removed the river.

The only reason I noticed the flare is that it looks perfectly circular, suspiciously so in fact, but the dof of the image makes me think you weren't shooting wide open.

The edited version is a great improvement
