A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
an upside-down church sculpture? what is this in aid of? is it part of a larger exhibition? I do like the light though. are the red glass tiles representative of blood? intriguing.
What a weird looking thing but you've captured it nicely. I too like the flares.
"The Device to Root Out Evil" is a Dennis Oppenheim art installation located in the Ramsay neighbourhood of Calgary.

Very cool work using the sun that way JAS.
What a neat sculpture. Nicely photographed for sure!
I've seen this before and even taken photos of it, but didn't know the artist or the name of it. Turn the church upside... love the metaphor. Nicely done capturing the transparent glass with the sun behind.
