Took these while getting set up to shoot a friends show to get used to the lighting. I think I surprised myself more than anybody!

Always nice to surprise yourself! This is a very nice set... love the mood and the warmth.
Very nice. I have been struggling with shooting a concert last weekend. Low light has been tough with the gear I have. What gear did you use in your case?
I used a Nikon D3100 with primarily a 55-200 1:4 - 5.6G lens attached. Used the kit lens here and there though. So far those are all the lenses I have so I had to make do. I started out on aperture priority but figured out that moving over to shutter and just constantly playing around with it worked out better. I left the ISO at 1600. Didn't get around to it last night but I will try to post some of the pics from the actual show tonight.
