    Default Old & New

The CNR train depot built in 1905 with a modern government building across the street in the back ground. I believe it was built in the 90's. This is in Marina Park at Prince Arthur's Landing in downtown Thunder Bay.

Nice pic Wiz! The view just isn't the same with that thing "looming" in the background.

Interesting looking train station. It is a shame that the modern building is in behind it. What's it like from the street side? Then over the water is in the background.

Thanks asnow. I don't have a shot from the street side. It's not an easy one to get. Maybe if Aubintbay reads this tonight, he could try to get a shot tomorrow well he's down at the harbour?

I prefer these last 2 views over the first which seems a bit "far" from the viewer.

Nice additions there Wiz. I never did get down there until this afternoon. I've been shackled as slave labour the last couple of days. Finally made it out late today though!

Like the last closeup picture from the street side. Gives you a much better feel for this old building.
