Very nice picture of the engine. Now you just need to get some hot pictures of the firemen (or women).
At my cameraclub meeting last night, there was a presentation by a photographer who photographed and produced the firefighter calendar for the Brampton Fire Dept. It was a very interesting talk on how he took all the pictures. The pictures were taken in an old abandon mill. The pictures were taken at night in pitch black dark. The only light was from flashlights and when he set off the strobes to take the picture. Equipment was very simple ... strobes, flashes, gels (mostly yellow), light stands, a smoke making machine (simple one like you would see at halloweeen), and a portable power unit for the strobes. And of course a couple of Canon 1D Mark IVs and lenses. He explained how he set up the lighting. Also all pictures were taken hand held.
Here is a link of the calendar preview
