Default Pulau Ketam, Malaysia. Part II

A view across one of the three main waterways which cut across the "Island" (it's really more of a high spot in the ocean)

Local fishing boat - very friendly people, who love hamming it for the cameara!

A string of BIG firecrackers set off (for no apparent reason) in the local market. Not the best shot, but there wasn't a lot of time to compose here.

Locally caught shrimp being dried prior to going to market

These are primarily meant as documentary images rather than artistic ones, however as always comments/critique/observations are appreciated.

I adore the colors!!! Wondering about the sanitation - food drying on the pavement. In the 3rd photo - The flags offering "shelter" from above with the light streaming through... I also really like how the boat is angled in the 2nd photograph.
    Again, thanks for sharing!

Tirediron, question- did you get a sense of an average family size residing in the homes you captured?

From what I could see, families appeared to be in the 1-3 children range for the most part, and not a lot of the extended families you see in other parts of Asia.
