I'm fascinated by the construction of this bridge. I'm trying to figure out how they plan on assembling it with no piers to support it. Normally they push a bridge across to the next pier but this is different. I will be watching.

It is going to be interesting to see. Looks like it's going to be a few more months until it is open though.
Some more pieces shot yesterday.
These heavy bits of steel are built strong and sturdy.
I think they are placing the parts on their back for assembly on the construction bridge. Then are going to rotate it right side up onto the footing/abutments.
What do you think?

Went by their today and they are starting to move the pieces in place.
