    That house is probably 100 + years old with a summer or do they call it a winter kitchen and a woodshed attached. When I lived in NS one of my friends lived in a home just like that only it was painted red. NS is such a nice place to live. That’s why all of the people that moved to Calgary always want to move back. I can see why.

    thanks Peter. What makes me sad about this house is that the structure still looks pretty sound. I love living in NS but once tinkered with the idea of moving out west. I am glad that I didn't.... but I love to visit out west.

    Awsome find and great shot Bambi!!! I used to love going for drives and finding old haunts like that. Only wish I had a camera back then. Here's an idea if you can go back just before dark and do a long exposure with you as a ghostly image in the doorway......... Come to think of it , there would be a great next month photo essay for us all being october and all!
