With the vegetation here I'll be back in the fall to try for more colourful shots. Should be quite spectacular if I hit it right.

The second shot has lots too look at, very nice. The third is my favourite though it seems to be a little soft.
what a place. I love the one of the building all covered with vines. I can't wait to see more!

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
The third one does seem a bit soft and so do a couple of others taken that day. The camera was on a tripod, the lens is one of Nikons' best, I was using a cable release and F11 gave more than enough depth of field. As can be seen by the water there was virtually no wind so 1/30 should have been OK as well. However,,in the fall I'll be raising the speed because a lower F stop will still provide an appropriate depth.
Nice composition in the 1st 2 shots. I think I lean to the 2nd though because that castle with the vines all over it is very cool!
Nice shots of an area I know very well. I grew up in that area...about a kilometer or so away. I had my grad photos taken there too. My parents still live there and when I get home I usually do several prowls out there taking photos.
