No not those. Although they would be man-made, right?
Ahem. Sorry. I'll climb out of the gutter now.
Anyway, when we were in Saratoga Springs last month we toured the Automobile Museum where they were showing the Montano woodie collection. I was captivated by these cars. Borne of the necessity to use wood instead of steel which was mostly allocated to the war effort, these cars are true works of art.
Problem was the lighting. Ambient lighting was very warm and low, but each car was covered in baby spotlights as well and so it meant high ISO, wide open apertures and blown highlights galore. I mostly concentrated on the details, but there are a few shots showing whole cars that I still have to process.
Anyway, here's what I have so far that doesn't suck too bad.
1947 Pontiac Streamliner Station Wagon (poor Chief Pontiac, reduced to this)
1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe series AH Station Wagon (say that 10 times fast)
1953 Buick Roadmaster Series 70 Model 79R Estate Wagon
