I visited a friend on an island close to Georgian Bay last weekend. We indulged a little to heavily at the bonfire. I awoke very early morning in a nightmarish panic knowing that my camera never made it back to safe retreat. I quickly hustled out to the bonfire where it was safely resting nestled on a cheap white plastic chair close to the fire.
I whapped it into program and took this 14 second exposure of the marina at 5:00am HANDHELD. This image accurately represents BOTH what the camera.... and I saw at the moment. Except, that shot my eyes saw was even more blurry.
I was luck the night was mild and there was no condensation. When my wife scolded my negligence I tried to make a case for a more durable, weather sealed D300. It uhhh..... didn't work...
