Based out of Esquimalt, British Columbia, and currently operating in the area of the Arabian Sea. I think the Nikon 10.5 is probably about the nicest fisheye going; it's got the perfect curve in my opinion. As far as protection, nope, the camera's on it's own. I've got a 'rain jacket' for it, but that's only for really heavy rains. One of the reasons I chose the D300 vice the more entry-level models, for the weather sealing.
