    Default Vertiginous View

    When I came out onto the balcony of our hotel room at the Intercontinental at Monterey one morning I saw this below. The shadows just make it as does the sort of random geometry of the tables and chairs. The odd angles and perspective make you feel all wonky, but I like it.

    It's quite an unusual composition and it's quite interesting to my eye. I think it would have even more punch if you upped the blacks in the shadows.

    thanks Marko.
    I tried it like that...the the blacks amped, but it doesn't suit the soft morning light and ended up looking faked.

    suggestions are always good. I try to experiment widely with images before I decide, but sometimes get in a rut. You know how it is...

    I like it too. I would try cropping out the half planters below to see how it looks. But that's being picky, I like it!
