    Default Darn Near Impossible

Lots of fun just sitting in the grass, in the shade of a tree, and wait for these little speed-freaks to come screaming out of the barn.

Wow - you did a great job here! The second one looks like a kamikaze flyer.
But the third is wonderful with showing the flying direction through the weather vane in the background! . But the 4th and final catch is really great with the backlight.

    Thanks MM, and Bambi.
Yes, I really like the weathervane shot also. Believe it or not, it was intentional. Kept following them through a pattern, and shooting at 8 frames per second, finally got that shot. Took approx. 250+ shots to get these few, plus a couple more.
Next time, I will use my pod and gimbal mount, that should be fun.

Wow! Nice stuff. That second one shows that these guys are built for speed.

Thanks again to everyone for the kind compliments.
It was definitely a challenge, but if it wasn't, it would not be worth doing.

What MoinMoin said. Wonderful shots indeed. I wished I had your patience.

Was at the lake for a couple of days and stood motionless in front of an old decrepid birdhouse waiting for the swallow to come out. After 20 minutes I gave up, since I forgot the DEET, and the mosquitoes had a feast. As soon as I lowerd the camera ....

I guess I need to be more patient ...
