Könnte fast ein Haflinger sein, aber in Nord Deutschland? Sind die nicht normalerweise häufiger in den Alpen zu finden. Zudem sind die meistens braun.
Funny, when I looked at the Grass, I thought: that's in Germany! There is a difference on the look of grass from place to place, thisa grass looked almost alpine. Anyway, the horse reminded me of the typical "Haflinger" breed used in the alps.
Wonderful shot, MoinMoin, and I sure hope you feel better than that horse.

HAFLINGER? Never - actually this breed is called "Tinker".
But you are right about the "Alps" with the Haflinger - it is original an alpine breed. But one of the best breeder ranches is here in the north, near Neumünster!
And here comes a picture of a Haflinger - watch and learn ;-):
That is a pretty horse, Moin Moin! Nice capture.
Poor old guy in that first pic., looks like he's leaning into the traces, but nothing there. Hope you don't feel like that often MM.
First thing that came to mind when I saw it was Gypsy Vanner. The colour, mane/tail length, and especially the amount of feathering on the legs gave it away. These are beautiful animals for sure.
Do you have many around your parts MM? We have a couple breeders around here, but that is it. Very $$$$ around these parts.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
