Found this little guy sunning himself on a rock today.

The head looks a bit dark on my monitor, making it hard to see detail.If the rock is a favorite sunning spot, maybe you can get some more shots.

well you could try dodging the head a bit but I like it as it is. Very nice catch.

Thanks. Yeah, a reflector would have been handy for this shot due to the angle of his head and the sun but you work with what you have. As it is, I've already lightened up his head, it was actually darker than what you see here. Not sure if he suns there often but I will be keeping my eyes open the next time I go back.
