Came across this beautiful Cedar Waxwing feasting on last years Serviceberries that were still clinging on.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Beautiful!
The first one is my favourite here!
Yes, very beautiful. Truly a majestic fellow.
I like both but my favourite is the second. I like how he's reaching for the berry.
Feel free to make comments on any of my shots

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
I like the colors of the first and the action of the second.
Beautiful little bird! The second is so gracefully birdlike! The first is a real pretty pose.
very nice captures. what lense are you using to get these shots?

Thank's again to all for the compliments, but again I had a beautiful co-operative model to work with.
As for the len, I am using my newly purchased Canon 300mm f2.8L lens, sometimes with the 1.4x TC on, and sometimes bare. This one was with TC on at approx. distance of 20 Yds. It is the one I used for the "Bird on a Wire" shot also. Really liking this lens a lot, very sharp, and love the bokeh. Only one problem, also very $$$$$$.
Every shot on this forum thus far is Jpeg only, not one raw conversion, if this gives you any idea of lens sharpness. Have very limited time for spending on PP at the moment, so Jpegs we get.

Beautiful shots HBG...these are one of my favorite birds as they are just so beautiful and not particularly shy either....more curious than anything.
