I did manage to get hold of a janitor or something at Host Papa and I was told they are doing maintenance, I should call back tomorrow

No, I don't mind, Michael. For one thing, you have a longer "reach" than I do (I want a longer lens, waaaah!). Your explanation is as good as anything - wouldn't be surprised if biologists argue over the reasons for the white.

JAS, I'm fascinated by the stuff I see along the path. I'm easily distracted by something neat, and pretty often don't get to my intended destination. I've got a couple of bird books, and I often take really lousy pictures, just to be able to look the birds up when I get home. I'd look up the trees, plants, whatever, too, if I had references - books are sometimes easier for that than google.

Or you could all just say I'm easily amused.

Don't fret...That image was from back in my four thirds days with Olympus where my 300mm lens was jumped up to 600mm just by sensor size. With the D90 I'm at 450mm with the 300mm but once you've been to six....Waaaah!

Nice timing on the capture QO.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
