Snakes freak me out but this guy looks friendly.
I love snakes myself. Not really afraid of them. Used to live in the country where they were everywhere. Had a couple as pets too.
Although this guy looks friendly, this species is usually pretty agressive. A green tree boa, they are arboreal creatures and have longer teeth than a usual constrictor. The are long and recurved in order to penetrate the feathers of birds which are their usual prey. They are not poisonous at all, but their bites hurt, as most bites result in a couple teeth being left in your skin, and left for infection if not removed in a timely fashion.
Very cool snake. Thanks for sharing.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
Just when I thought I was getting over my Fear...Thanks

Nice capture and fantastic colour.
It almost needs to be an HDR to capture the bright and dark areas.
