Looks like they make a mud nest, under the eaves a bit like the mudswallows do here.
Mamma bird has cool white eyeliner too!

Thanks JAS. I didn't realise they made a mud (spit) nest like the Kingfishers do until I saw this nest.

Got a comment in my Flickr album on these shots ... someone said the chicks looked 'demanding' ... I told him they were all girls

If I knew when the postman was arriving each day I'd take the camera back in and get a fun shot of him getting dive bombed ... these parents do not like the postman's motorbike!!
