    Saw a bunch of them today while I was out for a walk. They're supposed to fly south for the winter but people around here feed them so much they manage to winter it out around here.

    Same is happening here in the falls - lots of people out feeding them seeds. So they stay, it has also been a mild winter - in fact it is 7 above and raining right now.
