    This is bridgett. She's very hard to get pictures of and this is the best I've managed to date. The problems you ask? She's so short and her dark face make it dang near impossible. I've dodged the side of her face as much as I can without it getting too obvious She's still as cute a bug though

    You need an assistent with a reflector to keep that face lightened

    lol yes but even the snow didn't help!!! I'm not sure about Ms. Bridgett's willingness to sit still for a portrait!

    the snow actually made the problem worse, by making your camera think the scene was brighter than it was; it looks like the camera exposed for the snow, which deepened the shadows on the side side of the dog's head...

    duh! never thought of that! I had it on auto because she was so darn busy moving around! I'll have to get her on my home territory.
