another 'bouncy' little bird, common yellowthroated warblers like to live in tall grasses near marshy areas. they don't usually come up out of the grass for long, except to hunt insects or gather nesting materials. these were all shot with my 40D and 100-400L at 400mm, various settings...
this one popped out and gave me about a 5-second photo op with the sun hitting him just right, before he disappeared back into the willows...
this one was a bit more accommodating as far as the length of his visit, but not as close...
