    Default Behind Drawn Curtains

This is the second owl Ive seen in the yard. It is definitely a juvenile. One was dead in the road as well. I was leaving the driveway when I saw it land in the bush in front of my car. I promptly stopped the car directly next to the bush, climbed on top of my jeep and took a few shots. He was very generous and I probably could have grabbed him with my hands. I focused the best I could given the conditions. It was pretty dark out and I manually focused before firing the flash so I wouldnt scare him away.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

I always found owls a bit creepy, how they can turn their heads around so much. Nice shot.
