Worked late this night, up in a dead tree was something that did not belong there . I wasn't sure what it was so I put my Sb900 flash on and blasted !! It was an Owl .
cool. But he did belong there! he's probably thinking that you didn't belong where you were. :P

COOL! I love owls and am yet to find one in the wild to shoot. Nice going Mike! Not bad shots considering you were shooting blind. The SB900 and Nikon did well to get a decent focus!
Must be rare to get shots like this. Cool owl, they are beautiful creatures...
