My mom always hated starlings. She called them tailless wonders. Lol. She said they have a nasty habit of laying their eggs in unsuspecting songbirds nests. Still they are quite beautiful.
*Edit* I believe starlings have been falsely accused in that regard.

We had Starlings in NZ too ... but they didn't look like that! That's quite a pretty outfit it's wearing. What's it sitting on M?
