    Very cool! I like the way they brace their little feet. BWP? Big white pelican? I am guessing that our flock is tagged so they can keep track of it since ours is a bit of a rogue flock as pelicans generally go much further north in the summer.

    Yes...BWP = big white pelican...it's so neat to watch them land...it's like they glide down then water ski for a bit before landing. I'm going to get the water ski shot yet ! They seemed a bit cranky today...huge pecking order going with lolts of nipping and jostling by some. There were lots of fish today and they were almost herding them up against the concrete area and catching them.
    I think I'm addicted to watching them...lol waaaaay better than TV!
