Good shots - I love the image layouts (the diagonal gradient(?) of the branches).

Diagonal gradient is not the way we'd normally describe it Kerstin, but you are essentially correct though. I guess we'd usually just refer to this as the 'angle of the branches' or perhaps 'the way the branch dissects the image' or something like that. I kind of like your way though, it sounds rather nice
These are really well done as usual Michael.
I love the red on green in shot 1 and I love how tack sharp and poppy the black bird is in shot 3.
