Almost forgot about these guys, can't ever tell the difference between these and Prairie dogs, maybe they're one in the same. Cool shot, thanks for jolting my memory
Thanks ML... yes they are also prairie dogs and known too as Richardsons Ground squirrels. There's enough of them around here...that's for sure!
I always think of Caddyshack and Bill Murray when I see them..."Au revoir Go-fer!"

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
JJ...lol...do you mean "shoot them" as in blow them away or shoot them with a camera?
Alot of people here like to go out and shoot them in the "blowing them away" meaning and not with a camera. Seems to be a weekend past time for many out here....

The pun WAS intended. I would be out there to do both of them. I find that shooting firearms and cameras have a lot of similarities. Getting good at one will help the other.
