my chihuahua in the sun. couldnt seem to get rid of the highlights, but she was on a leather couch in direct sunbeams. giving me a pouty look cuz i woke her from a nap. "CLICK CLICK" i just love those freckles on her paws...

and just to clarify, her names not 'freckles', its roxie.
Never noticed before but they could hang glide with those ears

Very nice, Kiley! Sharp eyes too! :-) Adorable little gal!
#1 & #3 are my favs here with #3 just winning ... I think ... maybe ... or not.
And I agree with Michael ... she is probably listening to the birds sing ... in Florida!!
I like all of these. Especially #3 for the look on Roxie's face. #2 has become a little blown out in the colour conversion, which I find is quite common when converting to B&W and Sepia(In lightroom 2.0 anyway)

thanks guys! i had a hard time since it was only piles of white snow and my white truck on the other side of the window, so the blowouts were very hard to avoid. i liked the 2nd shot because you can see her little legs sprawled out behind her... i tried to dodge the background a bit, but i agree, #1 & #3 are much better. i love the little bat dog. i was thinking of titling the thread 'ready for flight' or something that might lead you to think it was shots of a bird... relaxed ears look like hang gliders, but if you catch her with them perked up like she is listening for something, she could possibly pick up radar signals from the space junk floating in the atmosphere!
I'm not big on chiuauahs, but I *do* like that second one. It actually looks cute to me
