Of all the countless shots I have taken in my 5 years of calling myself a photographer, this is one of my most favourite shots. Taken in rural Ontario, this feral cat was lounging on my sister's back porch. Normally it would take off when one of us would open the door, but this day it stayed where it was, allowing me to snap a few shots. This close up of his/her face shows the age and - in my opinion - wisdom of the cat and I was grateful that he/she allowed me those few moments. This was a few years ago and I haven't seen him/her since.
