Default Second Try - Grouse Mountin Grizzly

Thought I would try another image to see how it comes out. I resized it in PS to what I hope is acceptable while retaining some quality (6.4MB to 312KB - YIKES).

I shot this last Friday of one of the two Grizzly Bears up on Grouse Mountain, I'm not sure if this is Grinder or Coola off the top of my head... hope you enjoy it.

    Cheers,
    Myles

Nice sharp image! - If I have one comment, i think I would have zoomed out here 10-20% just to get more of the environment.

I hundred percent agree with Marko, it's a great shot but a little too tight. He needs more headroom above his back

Or, what might be a good edit is to make it portrait, and crop it in to where he fills almost the entire frame

Interesting. I’ll give that a try and post it again. I had some others that were more portrait like so I didn’t think to do that with this one.

What do you think of this now? I also added a couple of others (portraits) that I liked. Thanks again for any feedback.

Welcome to the forum. The direct eye contact and the apparent close proximity make these somewhat frightening, which is why they are excellent. Those claws are very intimidating.

I like the added room of #1 but #2 takes the cake, great shot. Actually all three are great but #2 is a Wow.
