This is a Little Black Cormorant ... probably our most boring looking Cormorant

The ones in the second pic that look like they're on top of a shuttle launch are the same as the one I posted are they not?

They are not.

Those are the same as the one in the first photo. Plain black. We also get Pied Cormorants which have a white and yellow face. We also get Darters that are bigger and have more colour in their feathers ...and straight beaks.

I'll be returning to this lagoon I found and targeting the cormorants very soon. I tried to get a few shots but only those two came out any good.
