Amazing shots. Must have taken you some to set this up, blind and all, I suppose. Or did you just go out into your backyard and shoot? Wonderful detail and amazing black night backdrop. Flash, I presume?

This is another of the hubby's shots from his workplace. They have two Arctic Wolves of which he has been be-friending. (they are very elusive, and very wild). He has been slightly accepted, and does a howl with them, and another Timberwolf hybrid every morning. Even then, these shots took a good half hr. to get.
Matt: No flash used, but they were just on the edge of a dark undergrowth pine/spruce woods as a background. Both shots were at iso 10000, using a Nikon D750.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
