    Default Wilson's Phalarope in Flight

    Have not posted here for a while. Been rather side tracked with other stuff.

    Anyway, went to Frank Lake, and took a stroll along the edge of the water .. bull rashes galore, and as I went close in these two birds kept coming closer and circling me. So I figured they must have a nest close by and did not want me to disturb it. Gave me good opportunity to practice panning .... unfortunately the sun was kinda straight ahead, so no catch light in the eye ....

    Cool- Nice and sharp and I love the shape/posture of the bird being echoed by the bird in the background.

    As others have said, I really like the composition and almost the other bird in the BG certainly adds to the image and makes it more interesting.

    Ditto here. Nice detail for such lighting conditions also.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
