Gosh, lately here in my neighbourhood we've been innundated with skunks!

I've seen 2 strolling around our 'hood in the last 2 days and last night one sprayed right near the house around 1am....the smell was just ranK and acrid right up until this morning! Last year one sprayed my dog in the face and he reeked for about 6 months!

I've seen 'em at the pet store and I had a neighbour a while ago that had one. Raiven is right....she has 2 very cute, friendly little guys (M & F) and I've seen many of her snaps.

Nice pictures, If possibly try to use diffused light instead of hard light, maybe flash bounced on a white cardboard or sunlight reflected. The harsh shadow behind the bird takes too much attention

very cool shots MA! love the bright colors... nothing like that at all up here - all we get are chickadees and blue jays. often you can spy an owl or bald eagle. as for wildlife theres moose, elk, deer (every time i leave town, i see at least one if not 20), fox, beavers, bears...
