    Default Snow geese

Found these guys in a large field after a huge rain storm. I'm guessing there were 4 or five thousand of them in that space. Thinking back...I should have done a panno. They rose to flight when a kid and a dog charged at them.

wow! kinda creepy, all those birds together! great time to have your camera handy...
i really like the middle shot, the birds wings patterns are great & i like the little guys in the distance. it looks like somebody in the front of the group has taken an in-flight poo as theres what appears to be debris dropping on the lefthand 1/3 of the middle shot, and also in a couple areas in the top shot. an easy fix in pp. nice captures!

Wow ... that's a lot of duck! Good thing they flew away from you and not over you
    I like the 2nd and 3rd shots.

Thanks guys....The stuff in the air was the mud from the field that was stuck to their footsies after the rain. I could have PS'ed it out but I thought it was part of the scene. I'm wondering now though

Michaelaw, as the others have said, all great shots. I particularly love the second shot. There's almost a sense of pattern in the chaos.
