couple of fun bird shots

This is a discussion on couple of fun bird shots within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; Thanks...I've learned one thing about birds...Unless they're dead, anything less than 1/250 shutter speed is futile, well the little ones ...

Thanks...I've learned one thing about birds...Unless they're dead, anything less than 1/250 shutter speed is futile, well the little ones anyway. Most of them are always on the go. Big birds, Herons, geese, swans etc. you can get away with a lot less sometimes. Tough critter to nail for sure
