Nice shots Hbg. I like seeing bird shots like this with the wings/feathers out. Nice.

Very nice. I love to see the wing spreads. So often, I see them just standing around.

Thanks all for the views, comments, and likes.
It was just a fun little experiment to see if I could get any keepers through the window glass. These are taken from the second story window looking down on them to get the in-flights with wing spreads.

Good images considering you were shooting through the window. If you are shooting at birds through windows, like myself you may have hit a creative wall. This is going to be the year of the birds if that does not change. Speaking on change, it is nice to see a different point of view on the birds being that these are looking down instead of up or across. Not sure how cold it is up there or if it is feasible, but if it were me I would look into taking pictures through the windows open. Honestly the perspective that you have here is quite interesting to me. Why not make the most out of it....?

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

A couple of beautiful shots, HBG.

I had no idea that you guys had Blue Jays all the way up there, especially this time of year. Year round residents for us, they are.

Thank you very much JJ, and BF.

JJ: It was approx -18C out so was just having fun to try shooting distance/point of view, without getting too cold from sitting still. I am def going to try through an open window if/when the weather warms up. Supposed to be down in the -20 to -30's again this week though.
