There are actually 4 of them that visit now and then. The 4th one was swimming on the far side of the pond.
We get loads of black swans around here but white swans seem to be rare, which is a shame. Don'tcha love how they tuck their necks on to their backs like that.
A little more practice and they will make it to the big leagues.
I haven't seen black swans, MA, but since the rumor is that someone with more money than manners is buying various birds and letting them roam, they might not have gotten one yet. Yeah, I liked the way they were tucking their heads. I have one shot of one with a single feather over its beak.
asnow, I haven't seen them trying to tempt handsome princes yet. They might need a lot of practice!
