    Default "I bet she's seen a cockatoo!"

    This was one of about 4 that visited us this morning. They were perched in the trees above our van.
    Many consider themselves lucky to see these birds at all but we have seen flocks of thousands around here lately.

    They are a large parrot, about 2 feet (60 cm) in length I guess.

    It was a bit hard to get a clear shot of this guy with all the branches being blown around between him and I but this one is ok ...

    First time I have ever heard of them. Nicely captured, and thanks for sharing MA.
