    Default Bees on Thyme

I have had trouble finding the time and suitable subjects to shoot the past couple of weeks. This afternoon I had 1/2 hour to just sit near my flowering thyme and watch some other workers going about their work. The following shots are the result.

For that shot I had a cream coloured pot in the background, so the only processing was to use the Photoshop patch tool to remove a couple of shadows and then I added the vignette.

All three are excellently executed, but my vote goes for #1. Love the short dof used and the comp with the flowers in the background showing more of the Bees element in which it relies on, for survival.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
