Hmmm. I think the grass adds to the shot. Maybe a little more contrast to the head?
It sure is sharp. Not sure I agree with Q1 on this ... I think the grass bokeh is distracting. Tell him to make another pass but higher this time
That is one tough shot with the way they fly so low, and I can really appreciate this capture, as I have been there sooooooo many times. Very well done, and the reeds really make it for me, "except" that they are through the most important focal point of the bird. The eyes/head.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
