    Default Prarie owl

Now if I don't get another shot on this trip I'll be OK because I got my first ever Owl Scooting down some of the back "range roads" to get closer to old abandoned houses has, if nothing else, proven that they are abandoned by humans yes but these beautiful creatures have moved in.

Awesome shot Michael. You couldn't have asked for a better setting for a capture such as this. The old weathered wood, the perch, and that "look" Def. a framer.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

This is really great. I'm enjoying the log of your voyage. Thanks for sharing it, and may the owl bring you wisdom.

I noticed that perch, too. It is a wonderful shot. Keep'em coming, JK.

I am another fan of this one, the textures & tone of the building work well with the owl

Really nice photo, not a big wildlife photo fan but finding many good ones lately and this is one of them.
