GREAT shot Micheal
A fine example of being in the right place at the right time with your Camera
Thanks everyone. I've always wanted to get an owl shot but never saw one so this for me was a total thrill. Also it gave me some idea of just how capable the Sigma 150-500mm lens could be especially on a cropped sensor where it's actually 750mm. He/she has menacing eyes for sure It was raining this day so I shot it from inside the car.
Great shot Michael. I like the background and texture of the old weathered wood.
I can just hear him say "Whoooooo is that"
I appreciate the rustic-ness of this shot. I also like the way the colour in the eyes pops in contrast with the muted colours of the weathered structure.
Thanks for sharing.
What a hoot. Love the way the owl almost blends into the weathered wood. Well done, Michael
