Thanks Iggy...It's a great lens at its price point though it's a heavyweight to carry on walks at 1980 grams

Wow, I did not think the Sigma was that sharp .. then again, I saw most images on a DX camera ... so then the 500 becomes 750 ... gorgeous image, Michael .... by the way, watch out, I am going to be in Vancouver May 1 and 2 .... wife and I are staying at the Silvia for a couple of days before heading to the island
