My camera club is doing a Birds of Prey photo shoot today at the Montsberg Conservation Centre. I rented a 70-200 L lens for this. Here's a few pictures I got out when I went out practicing yesterday.

One more. Mother (to be) Swan sitting on her eggs.
A very nice set of images. Looks like the 70-200 is comfortable in your hands
Nice set. Love that lens.
Feel free to make comments on any of my shots.
Very nice set Asnow.
Was the Mountsberg session with Raymond Barlow, or with club renting time there? Either way, this is a great place to get practice with birds in natural like settings. They do a wonderful job there making settings look like in natural wild environments. Have never shot there, but have watched from sidelines watching a session.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Thanks everyone. I could get used to that 70-200 real quick but unfortunately it's got to go back to Vistek tomorrow.
HBG - The session was with a woman but I didn't get her name. The club paid for 1 hour photo sessions (club booked three) and there were about 10 photographers in each session. Cost $25 each person. We got pictures of an American Kestrel, Merlin, Great horned Owl, Eastern Screech Owl, Bald Eagle, Red Tailed Hawk and a Perigon Falcon. I wasn't fussy with the last three. They took us in the caged area and thus the background wasn't all that great. Photos to follow. I've got about 200 to go through.
Can't wait to see the results of your outing Asnow. Too bad about having to return the lens. They are nice. Love mine for sure. Don't use it often enough, but still love it.

very nice series, look forward to seeing more

The last image of the swan also tells the story of pollution and garbage. Good image but sad juxtaposition.
